'Son of God'
is a moving and powerful portrayal of the life of Jesus The
Christ.
"Composer Mary Hession takes you on a journey into a
symphony of thoughts and feelings, which are above words and normal sensations.
It is music that talks to the heart, mind and soul like nothing else can do.
Feel the presence of a vibrant energy that flows through every note, from the
moment of his birth in Bethlehem, onwards through his life, unto the point of
his physical death, culminating in the glorious ascension of his spirit, into
the realms of eternal radiant light."
'Son of God'
track titles:-
1 ~The Birth 4:10
Gently in a night as still as
a mill pond, heralds the comet, whose proclamation announces the birth of the
new saviour, a child who will be born to raise man out of bondage and bring them
truly into the spirit of The Divine.
2 ~ The Gathering of Angels 4:16
All over the world on that
still evening, many heard angelic voices rejoicing and proclaiming, even the
leaders and kings were moved by a vibrant energy far beyond anything that they
had experienced before. They called upon the sears and were told that there is
one born this night, who is rightfully to be claimed The Son of God.
3 ~ The Calling of the Shepherds 3:52
They that sat quietly in the
fields, tending their flocks, were suddenly aroused by a brilliant beam of light
and they saw descending from heaven, angels, gathering for the divine moment,
that even the lowest person would be moved by. No life would ever be the same ~
the earth reborn that night, for God said: "This is my son ~ in him I Am
well pleased."
4 ~ Three Wise Men 3:52
The learned sears and sages
beyond the bounds of Roman occupation, saw the ascending star and read its
importance in the ancient prophecy; thereby did each without delay, mount camel
and with small provisions, though they knew not the distance, followed the star
to a lowly inn in Bethlehem, wherein the child was born.
5 ~ Journey into Egypt 3:21
There came upon Herald, a
great fit of demonic fear and he summoned his soldiers and sent them out to slay
the first born of all the Nazarenes, for he had been told that a king even
greater than any, had been born, but an angel had appeared to Mary and Joseph
and they had left the land and journeyed into the safety of Egypt, wherein the
young Jesus grew and learnt the mysteries of that ancient civilization.
6 ~Before Wise Ones in the Temple 4:41
Jesus came to the moment when
one casts off the cloak of boyish ways and takes on the mantle of man and with
his new authority he gathered with the wise ones in the temple and they marveled
at his knowledge and asked much of him, for he was learned beyond his years, for
he had spoken with the angels and with the priestesses at Karnak and with the
sages and prophets, who had seen in him the divinity of The Father and had realized
that this was no ordinary child, but one born to change the course of mankind.
7 ~ Baptism 3:39
And so he came to the river
Jordan and John, known as The Baptist, saw him and came forth out of the
water and said unto him: "Lord, I am not worthy to baptize you."
and Jesus answered: "The baptism is not of you, not of man, but is the
gift given by our Father in heaven and in this John, you will baptize me in
the name of The Father and The Holy Spirit." and John lifted the water
and baptized him and a white dove appeared and all that saw the dove
exclaimed ~ Surely this is a sign, for this man is not like us, for even The
Holy Spirit comes forth to be at the moment of his baptism.
8 ~ The Gathering of the Disciples 3:44
And Jesus called upon first
the twelve and these grew in number to 144, being both man and woman, for they
are both equal in the sight of God and as they walked in the mission of his
work, they sang: "Follow me, follow me", for these were the words that
he had given unto them. "I will make you fishers of men. Each of you will
be girded in the supreme light of The Father and all the mysteries will be
revealed to you, each according to their own ability, for this is the time when
the amber light of heavenly joy and knowledge, links heaven to earth and
proclaims the new world of righteousness and peace."
9 ~ The Mission 3:06
"I Am The Way and The
Light. Come follow me" said Jesus as they gathered in the numerous places;
in shallow valley, on hill and mountain side and beside the tranquil waters of
the river Jordan. "Follow me, follow me. I come to give you earthly words,
but they are likened to the sounding bell, that vibrates beyond the immense
distances of space, for the words are energy and the energy is the divine love,
given unconditionally between ourselves and betwixt our Father God and
earth."
10 ~ Entry into Jerusalem 3:44
The donkey made the trail,
bearing The Messiah and as he entered into the great city, they cast palm leaves
and rose petals and cried: "Halleluiah,
Halleluiah. The Son of God enters and is to give us eternal grace with The
Father, that we will be released from bondage and be made one with the
eternal spirit, which has born each of us into this sacred city of Jerusalem,
made more worthy by the arrival of The Son of God."
11 ~ Before Pontius Pilot 3:34
"Are you a king?"
asked Pilot. "If you say I am," replied Jesus, "but my kingdom is
not of this world. "Bring me forth a vessel of water, for I will wash my
hands of this man. I find no wrong in him. You Jesus the Nazarene, have been
brought to me by your priests. Into their hands do I redeliver you, but I say
unto those who have bound you and captured you, that I see no wrong in this man.
Why then do you bring him to me?"
12 ~ The Crucifixion 4:07
"Father, Father, why
hast thou forsaken me?" cried Jesus, as the agony of the cross became
unbearable. All the earth stilled. The day became night and a violent storm rose
from nowhere and at the eleventh hour, they heard him cry again, though weak was
his voice: "Father, Father, into your hands do I commend my soul." ~
and the blood ran down the cross and mixed with the rain and it carried forth
through fields, until it touched the river and the river ran forth into the sea
and the sea into the ocean and every continent was touched by the pure love of
The Saviour and the angels proclaimed: "He has sent forth his redeeming
blood, that you may know through his enduring love, that each of you is given
redemption of your sins and the doorway to eternal life." And they that
looked upon the cross and the body thus hanging there, cried out: "Was ever
such a man born, for we have truly seen this day the Son of God."
13 ~ The Risen Lord Christ 4:06
And they gathered around and he
stood before them on a hill and he lifted his hands to heaven and called
upon the angels to illuminate the way to his Father's throne. "Be not
afraid," he told them, "for I go to prepare a place for you at my
Father's table, but I will be with you, even as your shadow is, for you will
not be alone, neither will you be in despair, for as I take from myself the
spirit, which is in us all and am carried forth, equally is my spirit with
each and every one of you. Call upon me ~ even the slightest whisper will be
heard, for none of you will ever be alone again" and a great
light illuminated his body and quickly he was gone and they looked
around, for most assuredly, though he was not there, his presence was.
